Private Duty Nurse Job Description:
- Promotes good health and provides health care services, usually to one patient, in hospital or private home, contracting independently.
- Administers medications, treatments, dressings, and other nursing services, according to physician’s instructions and condition of patient.
- Observes, evaluates, and documents symptoms.
- Contacts physician to arrange for further medical treatment when needed.
- Requires RN license.
