She helps others navigate the healthcare system, attend medical appointments, manage medications and handle medical emergencies. As the primary liaison and medical advisor for clients, family, doctors, fiduciaries, attorneys and trustees, she provides peace of mind for patients and loved ones.
Courtney found inspiration to utilize her own experience advocating and helping patients and families while working as a Registered Nurse at UCLA in the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU) and as a member of their ICU Resource Team.
While in high school she was inspired by her family’s personal experience caring for their beloved “Pa” who died of Alzheimer’s Disease. Courtney volunteers as a special guest speaker for the Alzheimer’s Association through the Speaker’s Bureau to help educate and spread awareness about memory loss and dementia.
As both an Advanced Professional member of the Aging Life Care Association and as an official Alzheimer’s Association Public Policy Ambassador, Courtney works passionately to raise funds for research, awareness, treatment and advocacy on behalf of all seniors, patients and families affected by Alzheimer’s and other types of dementia.
